Hydrogen, the most abundant element in the universe, is an ideal fuel source due to its clean combustion, which generates water vapour instead of carbon dioxide. In the production of green hydrogen, renewable energy powers the electrolysis process to extract hydrogen from water, a process performed by specialised equipment called electrolysers.
