Summer and a great desire to start again. Fratelli Mariani will also take part in the upcoming The Big 5 Construct Egypt with its architectural division. This international exhibition concerning the world of architecture and construction is taking place at the Cairo International Convention Center from 26 to 29 June 2021.
Launched by DMG Events in 2018, The Big 5 Construct Egypt has become a reference point for the construction and infrastructure sector not only for Egypt but for the international market. In fact, 240 exhibitors from 24 countries participated in the last edition of 2019 – held in presence – and over 14 thousand visitors.
With over 450 billion dollars dedicated to ongoing or upcoming projects, the Egyptian government is now a major investor in the construction sector. As a demonstration of this, the “new administrative capital” was created and various restyling projects of airports, ports and transport networks were launched. With the program of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), 14 new Smart Cities were also planned to be built across the country, including schools, hospitals, shopping centers and entertainment facilities.
Despite the slowdown caused by the COVID-19 epidemic, the construction sector in Egypt has not shown a setback, rather it has continued to grow and, according to some estimates, will continue its rise with an average of 9% between 2021 and 2024. Therefore, the participation of Fratelli Mariani in the Big 5 Construct Egypt represents an important opportunity for restart and economic revival for the Italian market, in a difficult period of stop and limitations due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Italian collective participation will extend over an exhibition area of approximately 550 square meters and the space will be divided into pre-fitted 9-square-meter modules. We are waiting for you at our stand: HALL 3 booth 3D41 at Big 5 Construct Egypt at Cairo International Convention Center – Nasr City, from 26 to 29 June from 11.00 am. to 7.00 pm.
